Dikton is operated by DEVIGN, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €2, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 100 661 958, with its registered office at Bureau 326, 59 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France.

• Account: email address, name (if provided), hashed password.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We never store payment card data — Stripe handles PCI compliance.
• Product usage: minutes dictated, features used (anonymous analytics, no content).
• Configuration: profiles, snippets, personal dictionary — stored on your device and synced to our servers if you enable sync.

The audio you dictate is processed in real time through a secure cloud to produce the transcript. Audio is never stored, never logged, never used to train a model.

Transcripts are delivered to your device. They are kept on our servers only if you explicitly save them (for example, a meeting transcript that you save).

• Deliver the dictation and transcription service.
• Manage your subscription and billing.
• Improve service quality through anonymous analytics.
• Send product notifications (you can opt out).

• Performance of the contract: to deliver the service you subscribed to.
• Legitimate interest: security, fraud prevention, product improvement.
• Consent: for optional marketing communications.

To deliver the service, we share some data with:

• Stripe (payments) — Ireland / United States
• Vercel (landing hosting) — United States
• Soniox and transcription providers — United States
• Anthropic, OpenAI (LLMs for AI rewriting) — United States

All non-EU processors are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an equivalent framework.

• Active account: as long as you use the service.
• Closed account: 30 days, then full deletion.
• Payment records: 10 years (French accounting requirement).
• Audio: zero retention.

We use a minimal number of functional cookies required by the service. No third-party advertising trackers.

Under the GDPR, you can at any time:

• Access your data
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Export it (portability)
• Object to its processing
• File a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr)

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm. We follow industry best practices to protect the infrastructure.

We may amend this policy. Any material change will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.
